A concentrated night booster from Celimax built around retinal (retinaldehyde), a vitamin A form that sits one step closer to the skin's active form than retinol. It's paired with the peptides palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, niacinamide, panthenol, adenosine and a little vitamin C, aimed at firmer-looking skin, softer fine lines and a more even tone. Please note: despite some supplier listings calling it a retinol booster, the ingredient is retinal.

How to use
- In the evening, after cleansing and toner, apply a small amount evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area.
- Pat lightly to help it absorb, then follow with moisturiser.

Cautions
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, lips and broken skin. Don't use it on the same night as other strong actives such as exfoliating acids. Stop using it if irritation occurs. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before using retinoids. Keep out of reach of children.

What's the difference between retinal and retinol?
Both are vitamin A derivatives. The skin converts retinol to retinal and then to retinoic acid, so retinal is one step further along. That's why it's often treated as a stronger option and introduced slowly.
Is it good for beginners?
It can be, if you start 2–3 nights a week with a small amount and build up slowly. If your skin is very sensitive, start with a gentler retinol first.
