An evening serum from K-SECRET's Seoul 1988 line built around a retinal liposome and ginseng. Ginseng root extract, which K-SECRET calls black ginseng, is the first ingredient, joined by niacinamide, bakuchiol, oligopeptides and macadamia seed oil. It's meant to smooth fine lines, support the skin barrier and leave skin soft.

How to use
- In the evening, after cleansing and toner, apply a pea-sized amount to the face.
- Massage gently until absorbed.
- Follow with a soothing moisturiser.
- Start 2–3 evenings a week and build up slowly if your skin is comfortable. Wear sunscreen the next morning.
Cautions
Contains retinal, a vitamin A derivative. Don't use it the same evening as other retinoids or strong peels. Avoid the eyes and broken skin. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before using retinoids. Patch test first and stop using it if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

Questions & answers
Is this a retinol serum?
It contains retinal (retinaldehyde), a retinoid one step closer to the form skin uses than retinol. The 2% in the name refers to the retinal liposome ingredient, not 2% pure retinal.
What does bakuchiol add?
Bakuchiol is a plant-derived ingredient often used alongside or instead of retinoids for smoother-looking skin.
