What it's for

How to use

1. After cleansing, swipe the embossed side gently over the face from the centre outwards.
2. Flip the pad and swipe once more with the silky side.
3. Pat lightly to absorb what's left, then apply serum and moisturizer.
4. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.

Cautions

Avoid the eye area. Don't use on freshly shaved, broken or irritated skin. If your skin is very sensitive, start with a few uses a week. If skin feels dry, follow with a hydrating serum or moisturizer. The pads contain denatured alcohol and citrus, lavender and other essential oils, so patch test first if your skin reacts to fragrance. Wear sunscreen daily, since exfoliating acids can make skin more sensitive to the sun.

Questions

Can I use them every day?
Medicube says they can be used daily, morning and night. Most people do best building up: start every other day, then increase if your skin stays comfortable.

Can I use them with retinol or vitamin C?
Not in the same routine. Use the pads and retinol on different nights. Beauty of Joseon, for example, advises not combining its Light On vitamin C serum with AHA/BHA products, so use vitamin C in the morning and pads at night.

Which side do I use first?
The embossed (textured) side first to exfoliate, then the silky side to smooth and finish.
